FINAL FLOOD WARNING FOR COASTAL RIVERS AND ADJACENT INLAND STREAMS BETWEEN COOKTOWN AND THURSDAY ISLAND Issued at 10:36 am EST on Thursday 2 May 2013 by the Bureau of Meteorology, Brisbane.
Ex-tropical Cyclone Zane is no longer expected to cause widespread heavy rainfall. Some locally heavy rainfall and river rises are still possible, however widespread flooding of major rivers and creeks is no longer expected.
