Easing, short range SE swell from 4-5ft to 3-4ft in the Hunter, 3-4ft to 2-3ft in Sydney, smaller on the South Coast. Moderate S'ly winds in general, may be lighter SW early morning at selected locations (ie Northern Beaches). Light variable winds expected in the Far South. Don't get your hopes up.

Sunday

Mix of easing, leftover E'ly swell and a building S'ly groundswell. The latter should reach an a'noon peak around 3ft+ at south facing beaches, but it'll much smaller at remaining open beaches due to the swell direction (1-2ft). Expect very long breaks between sets. Clean with light to moderate W/SW winds.

Monday

Slowly building S'ly swell to 3-4ft+ at most south facing beaches, with bigger sets in the Hunter. Smaller surf at remaining open beaches, reaching 2ft+. Early light SW winds tending moderate S'ly during the day.

Tuesday

Inconsistent, pulsey south swell, reaching 3-4ft+ at south facing beaches, with bigger sets in the Hunter. Smaller surf at remaining open beaches around 2ft+. Light NW wind tending N/NE during the day and freshening.

Wednesday

Continuing S'ly swell with inconsistent 3-4ft waves at south facing beaches, bigger in the Hunter. Smaller surf at remaining open beaches, reaching 2ft at times. Wave heights likely to ease during the day. Light to moderate W/NW winds.
