A band of cloud over the NT, western QLD and NSW in a trough is generating areas of rain and storms, mainly inland. Some cloud lingering over eastern VIC and northern SA is only causing the odd shower. Patchy cloud crossing TAS in strong westerlies is bringing a few showers.
