Crossing the border into NSW, it was the same story. Yanco recorded 22 mm to 9 am, their wettest day since last December.
This afternoon, the trough causing the rain shifted east taking the best rain with it.
Since 9 am this morning, the highest non Alpine totals have been over the western slopes of southern New South Wales.
Cootamundra Airport is topping the state so far, with 18 mm since 9 am, their wettest day in nearly seven months. Cowra Aiport has had 19 mm, their wettest day in six months.
The rain will shift north during Monday and Tuesday, though light showers will persist west of the ranges until Thursday.
